GASTRONOMY   //   stews and rice dishes | tapas |  meats | fish | DESSERTS print version
rice pudding | lemon leaves in sweet batter | little buns | sugar and egg pudding

LITTLE BUNS

For 10 to 12 people.
Preparation time: 15 min.

Ingredients

½ litre milk
½ litre water
2 eggs
Bread yeast (the size of an egg)
Flour (however much is needed)

Preparation

1. About an hour before making the buñuelos, dissolve the yeast in warm water and mix it with the rest of the ingredients (flour, egg and milk). Stir with your hands (this means less work) until the dough is even. Leave it to stand for an hour.

2. Heat a deep frying pan with oil and put the dough in with two fingers, leaving a little hole in the middle. From time to time wet your fingers to stop the dough from sticking.

3. Once they are fried, place them on a tray and dust them with sugar.
