Hostería Palacete Rural de la Seda (tourist hotel)
Veredera de Catalán, Pedanía de Santa Cruz

Palatial house dating from the XVII century which was, initially, the centre of a grape-growing and wine industry before becoming, after a terrible plague of phylloxera, the place for the cultivation of the silk worm cocoon, a flourishing industry and one of the main resources of the municipality until the XX century. The Palacete, also known as the Hospedería Rural de la Seda, is a museum in which the furniture, upholstery, stuccoed ceilings, chapel, gardens and setting make it a place which deserves a visit. There is also a restaurant where you can sample some of the delicious dishes on offer.
